12g A&D Ejector by Alex Martin - 28 x 2 1/2" barrels
This Alex Martin was built circa 1950. It has 28″ x 2 1/2″ barrels which are choked 1/4 and 5/8. The top rib reads “Alex Martin, 20 Exchange Square, Glasgow”. The action body, cover-plate and guard are engraved with fine scroll and bold acanthus around the balls of the action. It has a 14 1/4″ straight-hand stock, with panels, teardrops and a vacant silver escutcheon plate. It has Southgate ejectors, a full spindle lever system and a roller safe. I have just boiled and cleaned the gun, polished and blacked the furniture, and re-chequered and blued the safety button. The gun retains around 80% of its original finish, and there has never been any rust in it.
|CONDITION:||Perfect barrel condition, 80% original hardening colour.|
