12g A&D ejector by W.W. Greener - 28 x 2 3/4" barrels magnum proof
This is a W.W. Greener Blue Rock built in 1958. The action, cover plate, etc. are engraved with bold acanthus and small panels of rose. The top of the action is flat and stippled, the gun is also fitted with ornamental side plates bearing the name J.T. Carr who interestingly, was the chap who had the gun built. It has a top auto-safe, Southgate ejectors, Deeley fore-end catch. The 28″ barrels have a stippled ramped section leading onto an engine turned raised rib and of course the Blue Rock Pigeon which is engraved also. The top rib reads “W.W. Greener maker, 40 Pall Mall London, Works, Birmingham”. The barrels have 2 3/4″ chambers and are magnum proofed. The gun also has a pistol gripped 14 1/4″ stock with Silver’s recoil pad. In a Brady leather case with Greener label and named snap caps. A stylish gun.
