SOLD – 12g A&D non-ejector by Arthur Allan – 28″ x 3″ barrels

SOLD – This is an Arthur Allan 3″ wildfowler or, perhaps, a clay bashing gun.  Built circa 1945, the 28″ steel barrels have a broad, concave rib, engraved “Arthur Allan Ltd, 3 West Nile Street, Glasgow”.  Engraving style on half of the action body is scroll and Arthur Allan appears within a scrolling banner on both sides of the action.  Retaining 75% of its original hardening colour, the gun has a 14 1/2″ pretty much unmarked, straight-hand stock.  For a gun built for the foreshore, this gun is in magnificent condition and even retains its original barrel black.
