SOLD – 12g OU by Merkel 28″ x 2 3/4″ barrels

SOLD – This Merkel is in pretty much new condition. It’s a full sidelock and has detachable locks. The gun is engraved with acanthus scroll and game scene, the left lock is engraved with a fox in pursuit of partridges and the right is a pointing dog flushing game. The action has bolstered fences and a cross bolt locking system, the top safe is manual and the gun has a single selective trigger. The 14 3/4″ stock is pistol gripped and well figured, with a matching three piece fore-end. The 28″ barrels have an engine turned ventilated 8mm top rib and are fitted with a full set of Teague chokes. The gun really is like new. With the correct choke selection this gun will be capable of firing standard steel shells.
