SOLD - 12g Round Action by James MacNaughton & Sons - 28 x 2 1/2" barrels
This James MacNaughton & Sons round action was built circa 19o6. It has 28″ x 2 1/2″ steel barrels, which were reprooved in London in 1993. The action is engraved with MacNaughton’s fine scroll work and Scottish roped borders. The gun is fitted with MacNaughton’s pendulum safe and bow springed ejector system. Of all the MacNaughton’s I’ve ever seen, this has the most spectacular original 14 1/4″ straight-hand stock. What an outstanding Edinburgh built gun. It comes in its case with trade label.
