SOLD - 12g round action by John Dickson & Son - 28" x 2 1/2" barrels
SOLD – This round action was built in 1891 as the number one of a pair. Engraving style is incredibly fine scroll work with “John Dickson & Son Patent” appearing in a scrolling banner. Replacement barrels were made in 1978 with 28″ x 2 1/2″ chambers and the 14 3/4″ beautifully-figured, straight-hand stock includes an ebonite extension piece of just over 1/2″. Opening and closing beautifully and weighing only 6lbs 7oz, this gun will make a super gun for somebody. (Please note the photographs are prior to the gun being fully overhauled and furniture and barrels being polished and re-blacked).
