12g sidelock ejector by Alex Martin - 28 x 2 1/2" barrels
This is a very well built Alex Martin, the action and locks are engraved with fine rose and scroll, the action body is beautifully filed and is just a little bit more delicate than others I’ve seen in the past. The gun has an Anson forend with South gate ejectors and a 14 5/8″ straight-hand stock. The 28″ x 2 1/2″ barrels are in wonderful condition with walls of 28 and 30 thou, being choked improved cylinder and 3/8 the gun will fire standard steel cartridges. All in all a very well balanced Glasgow sidelock.
