SOLD - 12g Sidelock Ejector by Churchill - 28 x 2 1/2" barrels
This is a beautifully built gun and is a standard opening Churchill Premier. Engraving on the actions and locks is fine acanthus scroll with “E J Churchill” engraved within a scrolling banner. The gun has 28″ x 2 1/2″ chopper lump barrels which have a concave tapering engine-turned rib, Southgate ejectors and is No 3 of a set of 3. About 30% original colour hardening remains. A full mechanical overhaul will be done and the ribs have just been lifted and re-laid. Beautifully made and of very high quality, this gun has a 15″ well-figured stock which includes a Silver’s recoil pad and the lock maker is Stanton & Son.
