SOLD - 12g sidelock ejector by E.J. Churchill Premier - 25" x 2 1/2" barrels
SOLD – This E. J. Churchill Premier model, likely to have been built in the mid 20s, has 25″ chopperlump barrels with “XXV” inlaid in gold and includes the number “1” along the quick sighting Churchill rib. The barrel tubes are engraved with “E. J. Churchill Gunmakers limited, 8 Ager St, Strand, London, WC2 “. Engraving on the action and locks is Churchill’s fine scroll and “Premier XXV model” is inlaid in gold on the underside of the action along with the words “finest quality”. The trigger guard has a double rolled edge and the pinless locks are made by Chilton. The gun has a 14″ well-figured stock with a 1″ leather covered recoil pad, and is presented in a Churchill VC lightweight case. Churchill Premiers are built to an incredibly high standard and would be a worthy addition to your collection.
