12g sidelock ejector by Holland & Holland - 27 x 2 3/4" barrels
This is a Holland & Holland Royal built circa 1895. The gun is in beautiful condition. It has replacement 27″ barrels by the maker which are chambered to 2 3/4″. The woodwork has been replaced with a 15 1/4″ stock and is currently cast for the left shoulder, along with a left hand bias on the triggers; this could easily be cast for the right shoulder. The action and locks are engraved with Holland’s bold acanthus and the gun retains about 40% of its renewed hardening colour. It comes in its case with trade label, charge card, oil bottle and snap caps, etc. I’m going to give it a strip and clean and it will be ready to go.
