12g sidelock ejector by Sempert & Krieghoff - 29 3/4 x 2 1/2" barrels
This is quite an unusual and, I suspect, rare gun by Sempert & Krieghoff which dates from circa 1925. It has 29 3/4″ barrels with 2 1/2″ chambers with a concave engine turned top rib, concealed third grip and manual top safe. Engraving on the locks and action body is fine scroll and the gun has lined cocking indicators and side-clips on the action body. The 14 1/8″ stock has a cheek piece for the right and ornate buffalo horn inserts at the back of the lock plates. All-in-all a stylish German gun. With the chokes regulated, this gun would be capable of firing standard steel cartridges.
