20g over & under by Abbiatico & Salvinelli 30 x 2 3/4″ barrels

This is a beautifully built 20g Abbiatico & Salvinelli, it’s the Excalibur model.  Hand engraving on the action, top lever, guard, etc. is bold acanthus and on the underside of the round bodied action there are two rising cock pheasants. The 30″ barrels have a beautifully fitted, cross-filed solid rib, which tapers from 8mm at the breach down to 5mm at the muzzle. A beautifully figured 15″ Prince of Wales stock has a steel engraved pistol cap. “Abbiatico & Salvinelli, Excalibur” and the serial number are all inlaid in gold, as is the word “safe” and this gun will be capable of firing standard steel cartridges. A really well made, steel actioned gun presented in its maker’s case with spare strikers and mainsprings.
