.410 single barrel, hammergun by Charles Ingram - 26" x 2 1/2" barrel
This little .410 would have been built around 1900 or maybe just before. Converted from a .300 rook rifle, there is a small amount of pitting in the bore, but, with a wall thickness north of 60 thou, it’s nothing to be alarmed about. Stock measurement is 15″ which includes a 1/2 ” buffalo horn extension piece, and the barrel reads, “C Ingram, 18b Renfield Street, Glasgow”. This will make a great little gun for somebody.
