7x65 double rifle by Asprey with 24" barrels
This Asprey 7×65 double rifle was built and proved in London in 1992. The action, which is bolstered, is beautifully engraved with bold acanthus and leaf work and retains all of its original finish. “Asprey London” is inlaid in gold on the underside of the action. The top strap of the gun continues onto the comb of the stock, which is a beautifully figured 14 3/4″ semi pistol grip with cheek piece and is in fantastic condition. The barrels are fitted with a standing sight from 50 yards and two leaf sights at 150 and 200 yards with an optional moon sight as a foresight. A beautifully built piece in its original case with trade label. This rifle is as-new and an excellent calibre for the Scottish hills.
