SOLD - Pair 16g A&D ejectors by Linsley Bros - 26 3/4" x 2 1/2" barrels
SOLD – This pair of 16gs was built circa 1930 and is in beautiful condition. Barrels measure 26 3/4″ with 2 1/2″ chambers, and are fitted with Churchill’s quick-sighting, cross-filed ribs with a panel reading “Linsley Brothers. makers. Leeds”. The action bodies are fully engraved with rose and scroll, and they are signed “Linsley Bros”. Gold numbers 1 & 2 are inlaid on the top levers, barrel breech ends and the fore-end tips and the guns are fitted with full spindle lever systems, rocker safes and Southgate ejectors. The 14 3/4″ straight-hand stocks include well-fitted Silver’s pads and are currently cast on, although originally built as right-handed guns. Being safe pieces of wood, I will be very happy to cast the stocks for the right shoulder if required. Both guns retain a good amount of hardening colour with the No 2 gun more so. Presented in their maker’s motor case with trade label. Lovely guns that haven’t been got at. Please note the pictures are taken prior to being overhauled.
