Pair of 12g A&D ejectors by E J Churchill 25 x 2 1/2" barrels
This pair of E.J. Churchills were built circa 1930. They’re engraved with Churchills fine rose and scroll “XXV” is inlaid in gold on the top ribs and cover plates. They have 25″ x 2 1/2″ steel barrels with cross-filed Churchill’s quick sighting ribs. The actions are beautifully filed up with ball and beaded fences, they have Southgate ejectors, full spindle lever system and rocker safes. The 15 3/4″ one piece stocks have been replaced and are currently cast for the left shoulder. The guns retain about 30% of their original hardening colour. Both guns have just had a full rejoint and I think are excellent value at less than £4,000 for the pair.
