SOLD - 16g Round Action by John Dickson & Son - 29 x 2 3/4" barrels
I suspect this John Dickson & Son is unique. It’s the first 16g round action I’ve had which has a scroll backed action and also a single trigger. Engraved with fine rose and scroll, the action and lock retain about 40% original hardening colour and all of the original screws are in perfect condition. This gun has its original 27″ sleeved barrels and also new chopper lump barrels measuring 29 x 2 3/4″. A beautifully fitted buffalo horn extension piece with exposed, engraved retaining pins is fitted onto the 15″ semi-pistol grip stock. This is a truly spectacular gun presented in an oak and leather case with accessories and will have an original trade label when I find one. Once again, I think this gun is unique, unless you know better.
