SOLD – This beautiful 16g by James Woodward & Sons, was built circa 1945. Barrels are chopperlump and measure 27″ x 2 1/2″ with chokes of improved cylinder and 1/4. Engraving on the Chilton locks is rose and scroll and the gun has Woodward’s typical arcaded fences, with top lever opening, a beetle back safety button and Southgate ejectors. The stunning 14 1/2″ straight-hand stock stands out and you will be hard pushed to find one more attractive. Presented in a lightweight leather and canvas case with Purdey trade label and accessories.
