SOLD - 12g A&D ejector by Linsley Bros - 25" x 2 1/2" barrels
SOLD – This Linsley Bros A&D ejector is likely to have been built circa 1930. Barrels measure 25” x 2 ½” and have a cross-filed, quick sighting, Churchill top rib and a third locking grip. The gun has a full spindle lever system and Southgate ejectors. Engraving style on the action is scroll with a game scene, featuring partridges on the right-hand side, pheasants on the left, a settling duck on the cover plate and a pointing dog on the bow of the guard. Panels and drop points appear on the highly-figured stock which measures 14 1/4 “, including approximately 3/4″ of Bakelite. Cast off measures approximately 3/8″ with bend measurements of 1 1/2″ and 2 1/4″. This gun has seen a bit of use, but it is an excellent British-built gun for only £250.
