We are Graham Mackinlay & Co and we do all we can to respect your right to privacy and the protection of your personal information. This is a summary of what we do with your information in order to run our business and follow the laws governing our business. We’ll let you know if we update this in the future. The information we use and where we get it from
When make an enquiry, we may collect your name, address, telephone number and/or email address. When you buy, sell or bring a gun in for storage or repair, we collect and store your name, address, email, telephone number and Certificate Numbers. Most of your information will have been provided by you, or created from your shotgun/firearms certificate. We are required to collect and store this information according to the UK Firearms Legislation.
Your rights
You have a number of legal rights to control what we do with your information. For example, you can ask us to tell you what information we have about you and get a copy of it; correct or update information that is wrong; stop us using your information in certain circumstances; stop us sending you marketing material.
How we use your information
We use your information to contact you regarding ongoing business transactions. We also provide Police Scotland with your name , address and certificate details when required to do so. We keep your information confidential and will only share your information outside of Graham Mackinlay & Co to fulfil a legal obligation or if requested to do so by you. All of the information we hold on you will be used and stored in the UK and will be stored electronically, offline.
Marketing
Unless you have told us not to, we may occasionally send you marketing information relating to products and services that we think will be of interest and relevant to you. If you change your mind and no longer want to receive these communications you can tell us at any time by contacting us at 01389 751122 or enquiries@gmackinlay.com. Graham Mackinlay & Co will never share your information with third parties for their own marketing purpose.
