12g hammergun by Theophilus Murcott - 28" x 2 1/2" barrels
This Murcott hammergun was built circa 1870. New barrels measure 28″ x 2 1/2″, choked full and full, so these could be regulated to your preferred choking. Engraving style on the action and locks is fine scroll with ornate borders. Fitted with non-rebounding locks, a Jones’ underlever opening system and a replacement stock, somebody has spent a fortune on this gun at some stage in its life. With the chokes regulated, this will make a great shooter.
