12g OU by Beretta – 28″ x 2 3/4″ barrels

This is a Beretta 56E, probably built around 1970.  Barrels measure 28″ with a narrow, ventilated, cross-filed top rib and engine-turned side ribs.  Engraving style on the action is open acanthus scroll, and the gun has a 14 1/8″ straight-hand stock and a single trigger with an auto-safe.  In really clean condition, and all for a mere £325.  Quite a stylish gun actually.   With the chokes reduced, this gun will fire standard steel cartridges.
