12g Round Action by John Dickson & Son - 29 x 2 1/2" damascus barrels
This damascus round action by John Dickson was built in 1904 with 29″ x 2 1/2″ barrels and is no.2 of a pair. It’s Sumner engraved with fine rose and scroll and retains a fair amount of original hardening colour. It has a 14 1/2″ highly figured one piece stock with a vacant gold escutcheon plate. Interestingly, the gun has chequered front and rear triggers. It’s been fully restored; it needs nothing done to it. If it’s a damascus barrelled round action you’re after; you won’t find a better one.
