SOLD - 12g sidelock ejector by T Newton 28" x 2 1/2" barrels
SOLD – This is a lovely gun built in the mid 1930s by Thomas Newton of Manchester. It has 28″ x 2 1/2″ barrels, choked improved cylinder and full. Engraving style is fine rose and scroll and the gun retains approximately 40% of its original hardening colour. A straight-hand, highly-figured, stock measures 14 3/8″ to centre and the gun has been overhauled and the woodwork has been re-chequered and oil finished. Opening and closing like a new gun, it is presented in its original brass-bound, leather case with trade label and named oil bottle and snap caps. It has been in one family from new.
