12g, SLE by James Woodward & Sons - 29" Whitworth steel chopperlump barrels
This is a Woodward automatic with 29″ Whitworth steel, chopperlump barrels, built circa 1890. Engraving style on the action and locks is fine scroll with Woodward’s characteristic arcaded fences with side clips. The locks have protruding tumbler pivots and it is no 2 of a pair. The Prince of Wales stock measures 14 1/8″ including a 1 3/8″ well-fitted extension piece. Presented in a Woodward oak and leather case with a few accessories, this is a good clean example and is in fine condition.
