16g A&D ejector by E J Churchill - 25" x 2 1/2" barrels
This 16g Churchill was built circa 1935-45, and retains traces of original hardening colour. The gun has a third locking grip, a full spindle lever system, a rocker safe and Southgate ejectors. Engraving style is fine scroll with “E.J. Churchill” displayed in a scrolling banner on both sides of the action. The cover plate has a crown with XXV and XXV also appears on the top rib of the 25″ cross-filed barrels. The stock is 13″ to centre, which could easily be extended in wood to your own measurements. A clean little gun presented in its tidy, original, maker’s V C case.
