Pair 12g round actions by John Dickson & Son - 29" x 2 1/2" & 28" x 2 1/2" barrels
This beautiful pair of round actions was built in 1893, and has been in one family from new. Engraving on the actions is Sumner’s fine scroll work which is in very crisp condition. Both guns have been sleeved and, interestingly, the No 1 sleeved to the original length of 29″ and the No 2 sleeved to 28″ and used as his walked-up gun. Stocks and fore-ends on both have both been replaced and now measure 15 1/2″ to centre. Presented in their original oak and leather case with trade label. Both guns will be capable of firing standard steel cartridges without alteration.
