12g A&D ejector by Gallyon & Sons - 28" x 2 3/4" barrels
This Gallyon is likely to have been built in the 60s. Marked No 2 of a pair, the gun has 28″ x 2 3/4″ steel barrels, choked true cylinder and 1/4. Retaining over 95% original hardening colour, the engraving style on the action is rose and scroll and Gallyon’s horn of plenty is engraved on the bow of the guard. The Anson fore-end is fitted with Southgate ejectors and the gun has a straight-hand 14 3/4″ stock, including a 1/2″ recoil pad. Presented in a canvas and leather case with Gallyon trade label, this gun will fire standard steel cartridges without alteration.
