Pair 20g A&D ejectors by Thomas Bland & Sons, 28 x 2 1/2"
This pair of 20g guns was built mid to late 50s. Steel barrels measure 28 x 2 ½ “, are choked ¼ and ¾, and the top rib reads ‘Thomas Bland & Sons, West Strand, London’. Engraving style on the actions is fine scroll and beaded borders and the guns have Southgate ejectors, rocker safes and a full spindle lever system. The well-matched, replacement, straight-hand stocks measure 14 ¾”, and both guns have traces of original hardening colour. A full mechanical overhaul has been carried out, including polishing and blacking of furniture. A super pair of guns that will fire steel shells, with the left choke reduced. Should you wish 2 3/4” chambers, I am happy to submit them to proof at a likely cost of around £1200 for the pair. All four tubes are north of 30 thou, and open and close beautifully.
