12g A&D ejector by John Dickson & Son - 28" x 2 1/2" steel barrels
This is one of Dickson’s ‘Capital’ boxlocks built in 1965 at a cost of £305/10/0. Steel barrels measure 28″ x 2 1/2″ and the top rib reads “John Dickson & Son, 21 Frederick Street, Edinburgh”. Engraving style on the action cover plate, guard etc. is fine scroll, and there are panels and teardrops on the 15 1/4″ one-piece stock. Fitted with a full spindle lever system, a rocker safe and Southgate ejectors, traces of original hardening colour remain on the gun. Presented in its original leather case with trade label. This gun will fire standard steel cartridges without any alteration.
