12g A&D ejector by W W Greener - 30" x 3" barrels
This is one of Greener’s famous ‘Blue Rock’ side-by-side shotguns. Built in the late 50s, this gun is amongst the last ones built, and has 30″ barrels with 3″chambers, choked full and full. Fitted with a tapering, flat, engine-turned top rib which is engraved, “W. W. Greener, Maker, 40 Pall Mall, London Works, Birmingham.” Engraving style on the action is Greener’s fine scrollwork and the flat panel running onto the barrels is of the usual stippled design. The gun has Greener’s manual side safety along with the the famous Greener cross-bolt locking system, a Deeley fore-end catch and Southgate ejectors. Retaining over 95% of its original finish, this gun would make an excellent wild fowler, pigeon gun, or a superb side-by-side clay basher. You don’t see many guns in this condition. It is certainly the best ‘Blue Rock’ I’ve seen.
