28g A&D ejector by Watson Bros – 27″ x 2 1/2″ barrels

This beautiful and rare 28g A&D ejector by Watson Brothers has 27″ x 2 1/2″ barrels, with a third locking grip.    The top rib reads ‘Watson Bros, 29 Old Bond Street, London’ and engraving on the action and cover plate is rose and scroll with ‘Watson Bros, London’ also appearing on the cover plate.  A well-fitted, wooden 1 1/2″ extension piece completes the 14 3/8″ semi-pistol grip stock which incorporates panels and drop points.  Fitted with a rocker safe and Baker ejectors, this gun weighs only 4 1/2lbs.  British 28g guns are scarce, and ejectors even more so.
