12g back action sidelock ejector by Charles Lancaster - 28" x 2 1/2" barrels
This is one of Lancaster’s famous guns, built on the wrist-breaker action, and it’s a self-opener. Engraving style on the action and locks is fine scroll, with the name “Charles Lancaster Patent” engraved on both locks. Replacement 28″ 2 1/2″ barrels by Lancaster read “Charles Lancaster and Co, 7 Bury Street, St James, England”, and the gun has a Rigby-style, lever latch, fore-end catch. In excellent, clean, and honest condition, this gun will fire standard steel cartridges without alteration.
