12g OU by Famars – barrels 29″ x 2 3/4″

This beautiful Famars gun was built by Abbiatico and Salvinelli with barrels measuring 29″ x 2 3/4″.  Engraving style on the action and lock plates is wonderful bold acanthus with flighting grouse on the right-hand side, pair of pheasants on the underside and flighting partridges on the left.   Inlaid in gold on the underside of the action body is “Abbiatico and Salvinelli”.  The wonderfully figured Prince of Wales’ stock measures 14 5/8″ to centre, and the gun comes in its original case with spare strikers and mainsprings.  What a fabulous looking gun.  This gun will be capable of firing steel cartridges without alteration.
