SOLD - 12g Round Action by David McKay Brown - 29 x 2 3/4" barrels
This McKay Brown was built in 1991. It has 29″ x 2 3/4″ chopper lump barrels. The action and lock plates were beautifully engraved by D.V. Hudson with bold acanthus scroll. The gun has gilded lock-work and retains about 90% of its original hardening colour. It has a beautifully figured 14 5/8″ straight hand stock which includes about 3/8″ of Bakelite. The stock has a vacant gold escutcheon plate and it comes in its makers case with trade label and accessories; which were undoubtedly made by Mike Marsh. Once again with the left choke reduced the gun will be easily capable of firing standard steel cartridges.
