12g Round Action by John Dickson & Son – 26″ x 2 1/2″ barrels

This round action was built in 1905.  Barrels are 26″ x 2 1/2″ chopperlump, with chokes of improved cylinder and 1/2 and were replaced by the makers in 1982.   This gun was also re-stocked and fore-ended by the makers to a measurement of 15 1/4″ to centre.  It has since been pinned at the crown, as a shake appeared in the woodwork and is slightly cast on with a left bias to the triggers.  This would easily adapt to right-handed if required.  Engraving style on the action and lock is fine scroll and rose, once again, wonderfully inscribed by Jack Sumner and the gun opens and closes beautifully.  Presented in a Brady canvas and leather case with trade label.  With the new barrels, this gun will be capable of firing standard steel cartridges.
