Pair of 12g sidelock ejectors by Darlow 28 x 2 3/4" barrels
This pair of Darlow sidelocks was built circa 1930. They have 28″ x 2 3/4″ re-proved barrels with a third locking grip. The guns are engraved with fine rose and scroll and grapevine around the balls of the actions. They have gold no.1 & 2 inlaid in the top lever, barrel breech ends and fore-end tips. The 14 3/8″ stocks are in an unrestored condition with flat topped chequering and have vacant silver escutcheon plates. They retain about 30% of their original hardening colour. They have Holland style locks and Southgate ejectors. The guns come in their oak and leather case with Darlow trade label. They are suitable for standard steel cartridges. A good reliable pair of guns.
