12g sidelock ejector by London Sporting Park - 28 x 2 1/2" barrels
This London Sporting Park was built circa 1925 and is in very clean condition retaining 50% of its original hardening colour. It has 28″ x 2 1/2″ steel barrels with a 3rd locking grip and the top rib reads “London Sporting Park Ltd, The Watts gun, Hendon, London”. It has a 14 3/8″ one piece straight-hand stock and the action and locks are border engraved with acanthus as are the breech ends of the barrels. The gun is fitted with Southgate ejectors, spindle lever system and has a beetle-backed safety button. All-in-all a really stylish gun which, with a slight modification to the choked barrel, is a candidate for steel shot.
