20g A&D ejector by W J Jeffery & Co - 28" x 2 3/4" Damascus barrels
This is a super little gun by W J Jeffery & Co, weighing only 5 lbs. 9oz. “W J Jeffery & Co, 13 King Street, St. James’s Street, London”, is inscribed on the top rib of the damascus barrels, which are choked imp cylinder and full, have a doll’s head extension and are clean and bright in the bore with just a couple of marks in the right tube. Retaining some original hardening colour, the action is partly engraved with acanthus scroll, and the gun has a rocker safe and Southgate ejectors. A highly-figured, 14 3/4″ stock, includes a wooden extension piece of about 2″, and panels and drop points. The gun opens and closes beautifully.
