20g A&D ejector by E J Churchill – 28″ x 2 3/4″ barrels

This Churchill 20g is in beautiful condition, and quite unusually, has 28″ barrels with their original chamber length of 2 3/4″.  Barrels have Churchill’s narrow, quick-sighting, cross-filed rib, and the barrel tubes read “E J Churchill Gunmakers Limited, Orange Street, Gunworks, Leicester Square, London”.  Engraving style on the action, cover plate and guard is medium-sized scroll.  Retaining about 90% of its original hardening colour, the gun has a 14 5/8″ well-figured, straight-hand stock including a 1 1/2″ wooden extension piece.  Fitted with Southgate ejectors, a full spindle lever system and a rocker safe, the gun opens and closes beautifully.  Presented in its VC case with trade labels and accessories.
