20g Sidelock Ejector by E.J. Churchill - 26 1/2 x 2 3/4" barrels
This is a 20g sidelock ejector E.J. Churchill with 26 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ chopper lump barrels with a raise Churchill cross-filed rib, and has an ivory bead. It’s an Imperial Model built circa late 40’s/ early 50’s. The gun is engraved with acanthus scroll and retains over 95% of its original hardening colour and is fitted with a 14 1/2″ stock. It has a rolled edged trigger guard, a pierced skeleton heel plate and has Churchill’s single trigger system, which works beautifully. It was originally purchased by a man in Tokyo and some 70 years later has returned back into the UK. It comes in it’s maker case and with a slight reduction to the chokes, this gun will be capable of firing standard steel cartridges. What a beauty.
