12g Hammer Gun by William Powell - 30 x 2 1/2" barrels
Now this a beautiful gun. I’ve had a few of these over the years, but they’ve all tended to be quite well shot and worn. This particular gun has a bloom of original hardening colour, the woodwork hasn’t ever been restored and all-in-all it’s in fabulous condition built circa 1870. With 30″ damascus barrels and a 14″ stock, the gun is fitted with Powell’s patent lift-up top lever system, the rebounding locks have nose-less hammers, and it is a bar-in-wood action. There is a small amount of engraving, mainly border engraved, an incredibly stylish gun.
