Pair 12g round actions by John Dickson & Son – 29″ x 2 1/2″ Damascus barrels

£24,000.00

The No 1. gun of this pair was built in 1900, with the second being ordered a couple of years later.  Damascus barrels measure 29″ x 2 1/2″ and are in fabulous condition.  Engraving style on the actions is fine scroll with “John Dickson & Son” patent appearing in a scrolling banner.  Both guns have beautifully-figured 14 1/4″ straight-hand stocks, they open and close beautifully and although not in their original case, they have a very high quality, brass-bound, leather case with an Alex Martin trade label.  Retaining between 30%-40% of their original hardening colour, these guns are truly stunning and remain in fabulous condition.

NB: All guns exported to the USA will incur an import tax of 10%

Please see below for bore measurements.
