SOLD - 12g Round Action by John Dickson & Son - 28 x 2 1/2" barrels
This John Dickson round action was built in 1895 and it’s an exceptionally rare left-hand opening gun. It has 28″ x 2 1/2″ damascus barrels. The action was engraved by Sumner, with fine scroll and foliage chiseled into the balls of the action. It has gold cocking indicators and an articulated front trigger. The gun has been completely overhauled, ribs lifted and relayed, barrels polished and rebrowned, furniture polished and blacked, and the 15 1/4″ straight-hand stock has been rechequered and oil finished along with the fore-end. The gun comes in its original case with the original owner name on the case lid.
