12g sidelock ejector by E J Churchill – 28″ x 2 1/2″ barrels

This is a Churchill Premier sidelock, which has 28″ sleeved barrels and 2 1/2″ chambers.  Despite being re-stocked at some point and generally worn, the build quality of this gun is, nevertheless, excellent.  Engraving on the action and locks is Churchill’s fine scroll and the E J C monogram is engraved on the underside of the action.  The locks of the gun were made by “E. Chilton” and are in remarkably good condition, with intercepting sears and pierced bridles.  A best London gun for less than £1000.
