SOLD - 12g A & D ejector by John Dickson & Son - 27" x 2 1/2" steel barrels
SOLD – This Dickson boxlock ejector was built at the end of the 1930s. Steel barrels measure 27″ x 2 1/2″ and the top ribs reads “John Dickson & Son, Edinburgh”. Engraving style on the scroll-backed action is fine scroll with “John Dickson & Son” engraved within a banner. The 14 1/2″ straight hand stock has panels and drop points, and the gun has a full spindle lever system, rocker safe and Southgate ejectors. Retaining about 40% of its original hardening colour, the well filed up action has Dickson’s ramped safety button and the gun has just been completely overhauled including the furniture being polished and re-blacked. Opening and closing beautifully and weighing only 6lbs, this would make a fabulous walked up gun. I like this one.
