12g sidelock ejector by Holland & Holland - 28 x 2 1/2" barrels
This is a Holland self-opening Royal built just before 1930. It has 28″ x 2 1/2″ chopper lump barrels chokes improved cylinder and 3/8 and the barrel tubes read “Holland & Holland, 98 New Bond Street, London”. It has been re-stocked with a highly figured 15 1/4″ straight-hand stock, the action locks and fore-end iron are engraved with Holland’s bold acanthus scroll, the gun is fitted with a rolled edged trigger guard, detachable locks and is number 1 of a pair. The gun opens and closes beautifully and comes in a Holland & Holland leather case with trade labels, etc.
