16g hammer gun by George Fuller, 30" barrels x 2 1/2" chambers
This is a good quality, stylish old gun with 14 3/4″ stock, by George Fuller and was built circa 1870. It is a back action gun with non-rebounding locks, which are signed “George Fuller”. It has a Jones’ under lever, a barrel lifter and a bolted fore-end catch. Engraving style on the actions and locks is bold acanthus scroll work and the gun has 30″ steel replacement barrels by William Ford, with 2 1/2″ chambers and is choked 1/4 and full.
