300 Win Mag by Ruger
SOLD – This is a 300 Win mag rifle, fitted with quick release mounts which are engraved with gold inlay. The forward ring grips the objective lens of the variable Leopold scope. Engraving style on the foresight is bold acanthus scroll which is also deeply engraved on the action including a hunter gatherer and his prey inlaid in gold. Elongated top tang of the action holds a push forward safe. The beautifully figured stock has metal pistol cap with trap, a cheek piece for the right shoulder and the fore-end wood has a buffalo horn tip. Looks to me like the work has been carried out in Ferlach, Austria. A super rifle, clean and bright in the bore, accompanied by a target showing the tight grouping.
