12g sidelock ejector by H. J. Hussey - 30" x 2 1/2" barrels
This is an early gun, built at the turn of the century. Although plain, with just border engraving, it’s of excellent build quality. There are gas checks on the action face, the 30″ x 2 1/2″ steel barrels are choked true-cylinder and 3/4, and have a third locking grip. The straight-hand stock measures 14 3/4″ including a Silver’s pad, the ejector system is not dissimilar to a Woodward, and the gun is marked No 2 of a pair. This is a really well-made London sidelock for the price of a boxlock.
